Happy Earth Month, folks! To celebrate, Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh is getting crafty! Come join us for an evening of sustainable creativity at our Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. There may even be a chance to meet one of our Animal Ambassadors and learn all about how the choices that we make every day affect the world around us. This event is designed for families (and friends) to attend together; there is no age limit on crafting or on learning!

Rabbit Café at Threadbare

Join the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh at Threadbare Cider House and meet some adorable, adoptable rabbits! We will be bringing some of our cutest bunnies ready to play and maybe even go home with you! The rabbits will be in a room adjoining the dining room to keep them and the health department happy! Come hungry and enjoy pizza, cider and cocktails. A portion of food, drink & bottle sales will benefit the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh.

Mark your calendar for Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh’s Adoption Saturday in partnership with Creatures of The Creator Pet Ministry of Unity Presbyterian Church. The fun-filled afternoon offers an opportunity to learn more about Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, and all of our programs and services. Best of all, it’s an opportunity to meet the many animals available for adoption. Currently, HARP has an abundance of animals in its care. The adoption team at HARP works to make the best possible match, learning more about adopters and sharing information about available animals. All animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, given vaccinations appropriate for their age at the time of adoption, and given flea/tick protection. Spay-A-Thon 2022

This event is FREE. Cats will receive spay/neuter, Rabies/FVRCP vaccine, flea prevention, ear tip. Cats must be in individual traps, covered in a sheet or towel. Limit 10 cats per caregiver. The caregiver who drops off cats must be the person to pick them up. Additional services will NOT be offered during the event.

Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh will be offering a kid-only, valentines-themed event “PJs, Paws, & Popcorn!” on Friday, February 17th from 5:30-8 p.m. at our North Side location. The kids will get creative with a craft, play some games, and then enjoy a G or PG rated movie with popcorn. Drop the kids off in their favorite Pjs along with a sleeping bag or blanket, and we'll provide the rest!

Wildlife Baby Shower 2023

Every spring, hundreds of baby wildlife, some injured and abandoned, arrive at the center. In preparation for the new arrivals, Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) will host a Wildlife Baby Shower to help stock up on supplies needed for the busy season ahead.
