Mark your calendar for Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh’s (HARP) Pet-a-palooza! All are invited to enjoy the music, kids’ activities, giveaways and even some sweet treats from Salty Paws for our four-legged friends.

The fun-filled afternoon offers an opportunity to learn more about Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, its training programs, Ellie’s Pet Food Pantry and volunteer and foster opportunities. Best of all, it’s an opportunity to meet the many animals available for adoption, from cats and dogs to guinea pigs, rabbits and maybe even a turtle! Currently, HARP has an abundance of animals in its care.

The adoption team at HARP works to make the best possible match, learning more about adopters and sharing information about available animals. All animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, given vaccinations appropriate for their age at the time of adoption, and given flea/tick protection. In addition, dogs 6 months or older are tested for heartworm. Go to humaneanimalrescue.org/adopt to view all the animals currently available for adoption.
