Community Service Hours Program

• Available for groups or individuals to earn community service hours.
• If you have an idea for a project, let us know! Otherwise we can help match you with a project.
• Community Service volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Court – Mandated Community Service

• Eligible for individuals who are 18 years old or older 
• Hours available at all 3 locations (depending on staff availability)
• Shifts are first-come, first-served 
• Non-animal handling tasks only – laundry, dishes, sorting donations, etc.  
• For safety reasons, those completing their hours at our Wildlife Center location in Verona must provide proof of a tetanus vaccination from within the past 10 years before starting their service.
• Charge restrictions: 
  • Misdemeanors or lower 
  • No illegal drugs, animal cruelty, domestic violence, child abuse, assault, sexual offenses, or theft
