Looking for a little spooky fun this holiday season? Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh is hosting a trio of classic horror movie nights at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center during October. Viewing will be outside on the grounds of the center located at 6000 Verona Road, Verona PA 15147. The evening includes a classic movie, snacks and a special encounter with one of the Wildlife Educational Ambassadors.

HOWL-IDAY PAWS Pop Up Shop

From Halloween costumes to stocking stuffers, “Howl-iday Paws” will feature a variety of new and lightly-used pet apparel, carriers, toys, and more for your favorite furry friend. All proceeds from the event will benefit Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh.

HARP’s Wildlife Baby Shower

Every spring, hundreds of baby wildlife, some injured and abandoned, arrive at the center. In preparation for the new arrivals, Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) will host a Wildlife Baby Shower to help stock up on supplies needed for the busy season ahead.

There may even be a chance to meet one of our Animal Ambassadors and learn all about how the choices that we make every day affect the world around us. This event is designed for families (and friends) to attend together; there is no age limit on crafting or on learning!

Join the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh at Threadbare Cider House and meet some adorable, adoptable rabbits! We will be bringing some of our cutest bunnies ready to play and maybe even go home with you! The rabbits will be in a room adjoining the dining room to keep them and the health department happy! Come hungry and enjoy pizza, cider and cocktails. A portion of food, drink & bottle sales will benefit the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh.
