Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh is offering fun and exciting in-school programs at no cost for Title 1 schools!

Our organization, which cares for both domestic and wild animals at our two animal shelters, two veterinary clinics, and wildlife rehabilitation center, offers in-school educational programs. These programs are designed as an assembly-style presentation with one animal guest and a digital presentation for large or small groups.

Through these programs, we create lifelong learners, give students tools to positively engage with the animals around them, and expose them to the breadth of animal-related careers.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to rehabilitate and release sick, injured or orphaned native Pennsylvania Wildlife? In doing so, we can also learn about what our body language communicates back to the animals and how we can create a more paws-itive interaction as a result.
