Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh is offering fun and exciting in-school programs at no cost for Title 1 schools!
Our organization, which cares for both domestic and wild animals at our two animal shelters, two veterinary clinics, and wildlife rehabilitation center, offers in-school educational programs. These programs are designed as an assembly-style presentation with one animal guest and a digital presentation for large or small groups.
Through these programs, we create lifelong learners, give students tools to positively engage with the animals around them, and expose them to the breadth of animal-related careers.
Note: In most cases, these classes can be slightly modified to fit your school’s specific curriculum or time frame requirements. Each program typically lasts 45 minutes. Programs are ideal for multi-grade assemblies.
