Volunteer with Camp Rescue This Summer!
We’re gearing up for another amazing season of Camp Rescue—and we need your help! Volunteers work alongside HARP’s Education staff to help educate and inspire the next generation of veterinarians, wildlife rehabbers, pet lovers, and environmental advocates. Camps are held at both our East Side shelter and our Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, with a wide range of age groups and themes.
If you’ve got time this summer and love working with kids and animals, we’d love to have you on the team!

Volunteer Details:
- Time Commitment: One week (Monday–Friday), either 8:30am–12:30pm or 12:00–4:00pm (20 hours total)
- Camp Dates: Camps run most weeks in June, July, and August

- Required: Act 33, Act 34, and Act 114 clearances
- Orientation: Onsite at HARP during the last week of May

Intern with HARP’s Humane & Wildlife Education Team
Looking for hands-on experience in animal rescue education? Join us as an intern this summer! Interns support our Education staff in running Camp Rescue at both our domestic animal shelter and Wildlife Center. You’ll help deliver engaging lessons and activities in a fun, supportive environment—while making a real impact on young animal lovers.
Internship Overview:
- Location: HARP East Side Shelter & Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
- Dates: Late May through Late August (flexible start/end)
- Hours: ~20 hours/week | Shifts: 8:30am–12:30pm or 12:00–4:00pm
- Camp hours: 9:00am–3:00pm (availability needed within that range)
