This holiday season, we are spreading joy and compassion through our “Stuff A Doghouse” initiative, extending a warm invitation to local companies and organizations. The concept is simple yet impactful—groups are encouraged to gather essential items, including dog and cat food, pet treats, toys, and other necessities from our wish list. These thoughtful contributions will benefit not only HARP’s two domestic shelters but also support pets and owners in need within the local community.
From November 25th to December 31st, participating groups will coordinate a day to deliver their collected items to either the North Side (1101 Western Avenue) or East Side (6926 Hamilton Avenue) shelters. In return for their generosity, contributors will be treated to cookies, hot chocolate, a tour of the facility, and maybe a visit from an adorable animal seeking a forever home. It’s a heartwarming opportunity to embrace the true spirit of the holidays, making a tangible difference by providing essential supplies for pets and their owners facing challenging times. Together, the community can illuminate the season for those in need.
