Uncle Sheetz

Meet Uncle Sheetz! He’s the epitome of “not the stepdad, but the dad that stepped up”. He was brought in by animal control alongside 4 kittens, so we initially assumed he was their mom, but as it turned out, he was an adult male that just so happened to be with them! We don’t know if he’s related to the kittens, or where their mom went, but he was clearly doing a good job of looking after them in her absence. For that, he gets the honorary title of “Uncle”. Beyond that, we don’t know much about him. However, he’s already shown himself to be as loyal and responsible young man, and will be a loving and dependable companion for years to come. He can be a bit nervous of new people at first, and likes her personal space to be respected, but can be won over with cheek scritches and treats. So come meet Uncle Sheetz— he’s not looking for a stepfamily, but a family that’ll step up and give him the forever home he deserves!

Thank you for your interest in adoption! We are open to process adoptions on a walk-in basis Tuesday – Friday from Noon to 6 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, adoptions are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
