Trudy
Meet Trudy! Trudy came to us after being brought to our Wildlife Center when a good samaritan found her with a fish hook in her mouth. As Trudy is a red-eared slider she cannot be adopted within Pittsburgh city limits due to local regulations. She will need a spacious aquatic setup with both swimming areas and a dry basking spot equipped with a UVB light to maintain her shell and overall health. She thrives on a balanced diet of turtle pellets, leafy greens, and occasional protein treats like insects or fish. Trudy will do best with a dedicated owner who understands her specific care needs and can provide a clean, temperature-regulated habitat where she can swim, bask, and thrive. Adopt Trudy today!
Thank you for your interest in adoption! We are open to process adoptions on a walk-in basis Tuesday – Friday from Noon to 6 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, adoptions are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
