Meet Chip, Chippy Chippy Chipperson, Chip Chip Chappy Chap. Chip is a handsome gentleman who lived with small children successfully in a home, and if you are a high energy, active family looking for a play buddy, he would be a great fit. Chip was surrendered into our care when his previous family wasn't able to get him out and exercise him as much as he deserved. If you are outdoorsy and active, he would be a very happy family dog. He loves toys, especially tennis balls, and you can always grab his attention with a quick squeak! He has done well with dogs in his previous home and he did well with them earlier in his stay with us but recently he has been having a harder time. He continues to do well on buddy walks but face to face to play is just too much for him right now. We are recommending he goes home as the only dog in the home but we do believe that after some time away from the shelter, he could be more interested in a doggy buddy.
