Meet Annie! This campus cutie was found running around the Pitt campus as a stray, so we don't know what her life was like prior to coming to the shelter besides trying to further her education. She's a typical hound who LOVES to sniff everything. Being that she is a working breed dog, she is in search of a family who can give her adequate mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. We haven't had her interact with any other pups yet, but she has shown some nervousness around more rowdy dogs when passing their kennels. We'd love to have any potential adopter's dog come in to meet with Annie prior to adoption given that we don't know what her background or previous interactions with dogs were like. We are open to process adoptions on a walk-in basis Tuesday – Friday from Noon to 6 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, adoptions are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. To ensure the best experience, meet-and-greets must begin before by 5:00 PM on Tuesday through Friday and by 3:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
