Meet Akeelah, an absolute gem of a pup with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! She’s sweet as can be, a total goofball, and always down for treats, toys, and plenty of pets. This wiggly lovebug will quickly steal your heart with her silly charm and affectionate nature. We're still learning how she feels about other dogs, cats, or kids, but our team is happy to guide adopters through slow, thoughtful introductions to help everyone thrive together. We feel that she will do best in a home without young kiddos, as she's a bit more anxious and requires a quiet, patient environment to thrive. Thank you for your interest in adoption! We are open to process adoptions on a walk-in basis Tuesday – Friday from Noon to 6 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, adoptions are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
