Meet Athena! Athena was originally adopted from us as a puppy but had to return when her owner moved and could not bring her with them. In her previous home, she lived with two cats and a child, though we cannot guarantee that she will get along with every cat and child she meets. Athena has been unsure of other dogs in care, so we recommend bringing in any potential canine companions in for a meet and greet. Because she displays some common herding-breed tendencies, we are also requiring any potential adopters to have experience owning herding breeds on their own (growing up with one or living with parents/friends with one does not count). Thank you for your interest in adoption! We are open to process adoptions on a walk-in basis Tuesday – Friday from Noon to 6 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, adoptions are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
