Meet Shadow, a big-hearted young pup who’s still learning to feel safe in the world. Shadow can be a bit nervous at first—new places, noises, and quick movements can startle him—but with time, patience, and a gentle approach, he’s been showing wonderful progress with our staff and volunteers. Once he trusts you, he seeks out comfort and enjoys pets and quiet companionship. Shadow would thrive in a calm home with no young children and would likely gain confidence with a friendly, well-matched dog buddy by his side.
