Please Notice: Due to the current shelter capacity, all non-emergency dog surrenders require an appointment. This helps us manage our shelter population efficiently. Please schedule appointments for surrender by viewing the information on this page. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in ensuring the well-being of our furry friends. Thank you!
We understand that making the decision to give up your pet can be very difficult. Before you make the final decision, please check out some of our resources that may allow you to keep your pet or provide alternative re-homing options.
In order to ensure resources are prepared and available when the pet enters our care, the Humane Animal Rescue requires a surrender appointment to be scheduled. Without an appointment process, we would have no control over the number of pets that come into our care each day which in turn would limit our ability to provide the best care to each pet. You must also provide us with proof of ownership before surrendering.
