Mark your calendar for Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh’s Adoption Saturday in partnership with Creatures of The Creator Pet Ministry of Unity Presbyterian Church.
The fun-filled afternoon offers an opportunity to learn more about Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, and all of our programs and services. Best of all, it’s an opportunity to meet the many animals available for adoption. Currently, HARP has an abundance of animals in its care.
The adoption team at HARP works to make the best possible match, learning more about adopters and sharing information about available animals. All animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, given vaccinations appropriate for their age at the time of adoption, and given flea/tick protection. Go to humaneanimalrescue.org/adopt to view all the animals currently available for adoption.
This event is FREE. Cats will receive spay/neuter, Rabies/FVRCP vaccine, flea prevention, ear tip. Cats must be in individual traps, covered in a sheet or towel. Limit 10 cats per caregiver. The caregiver who drops off cats must be the person to pick them up.
Additional services will NOT be offered during the event.
Let’s have some fun (and a few beers) to support our furry friends! Grab the pups and join us at Helltown Brewing in Export on Saturday, Oct. 22, for the first ever Hair of the Dog fundraiser to benefit the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh! We’ll have 50/50 raffles, cornhole, ladder toss, and some fantastic food trucks. Benvenuti’s Pizza Factory will be onsite 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Just Roll’d Up begins serving at 4 p.m.
