Meet Lug Nut, a charismatic canine resident of our shelter. He has the staying power to be a great hiking buddy, but his real passion is laying in laps! This big baby wants nothing more than to cuddle up with his favorite people and LOVES to go for car rides! He's been very well-behaved while spending time in various offices here, content to chew on his toys and relax. He is able to sleep 7-8 hours in a crate, knows Sit/Down/ Come, loves rope, balls and squeak toys, will stand by the front door to let you know he needs to go outside, we do know he would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He's a big, sweet boy who sometimes doesn't understand quite how large he is, so he may not be the best fit for very small children. Thank you for your interest in adoption! We are open to process adoptions on a walk-in basis Tuesday – Friday from Noon to 6 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, adoptions are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
