DESCRIPTION:Join us as a volunteer for this year’s 2024 Spay-a-Thon! Email spayathon2024@humaneanimalrescue.org to get started.\nRegistration is CLOSED! \n\nThe event is free for community and feral cats only.\nAll cats must be in a secure\, properly functioning trap\, and the trap must be covered.\nThere is a minimum of 2 cats per person\, and a maximum of 15 cats per person.\nAll the cats will receive spay/neuter\, eat tip\, rabies vaccine\, FVRCP vaccine and flea prevention. ADDITIONAL services\, including combo testing or other diagnostics/medications\, will NOT be available.\nWe reserve the right to not spay/neuter and cats that appear to be visibly not healthy enough for surgery.\nDue to the high demand for morning and daytime appointment times\, specific drop-up and pick-up times will be assigned via a lottery of all caretakers who register. Slots cannot be guaranteed to all those who register\, and all scheduled slots are not permitted to be exchanged amongst caregivers.\nDue to the inability to field phone calls related to the event\, all correspondence will take place via email.\nALL CONFIRMATION EMAILS WILL BE SENT OUT ON OR BEFORE 9/13/2024\nCaretakers will have to bring either a printed copy of their confirmation email at the time of drop off or be able to show it to us on their phone.

DESCRIPTION:Get Ready for Paw-lympics at HARP!\n\nGo for the gold! 🥇 From August 6 – August 11\, adoption fees are WAIVED for all dogs 6 months or older!* \n*County license fee not included\n\n\nInspired by the Olympics\, Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) is excited to host the “Paw-lympic” Adoption Event. This special week long event focuses on finding loving homes for dogs six months or older by waiving adoption fees. The event will be held at the East Side (6926 Hamilton Avenue) and North Side (1101 Western Avenue) shelter locations. \nAs an open-door shelter\, HARP accepts all animals in need and provides them with the care and love they deserve. By waiving adoption fees\, HARP aims to reduce financial barriers and encourage more people to bring a new furry friend into their lives. Adoption includes spaying/neutering\, age-appropriate vaccinations\, microchipping\, basic health checks\, flea/tick protection\, and heartworm testing for dogs six months or older. \nVIEW DOGS
