For 150 years, Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) has been a lifeline for animals, pet owners, and the greater Pittsburgh community. On this Giving Tuesday, your donation will ensure that HARP continues its vital work. Here’s why HARP is more than just a shelter—it’s a community resource for both pets and people:
This Giving Tuesday, your support is critical to helping us continue these efforts. By donating, you will help us:
- Expand our services and reach more animals and families in need.
- Sustain our mobile veterinary clinics and provide essential care directly to underserved communities.
- Continue our investigations to protect animals from abuse and neglect.
- Support the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, allowing us to treat and release even more injured and orphaned wildlife back into their natural habitats.
Help us create a brighter future for animals and their people. Donate today and make a lasting difference in our community!
Your Support Brings Hope to Families in Need
“I never imagined that life could change so drastically in just one year. After becoming disabled, I lost my car, my home, and found myself facing overwhelming anxiety, depression, and PTSD. My 12-year-old granddaughter is navigating these same struggles, and our two puppies, Tiny and Snickerdoodle, have become a lifeline for us both as registered service animals. But even with their support, I feared we wouldn’t be able to afford the care they needed.
Thanks to the Humane Health Coalition (HHC), we found the help we so desperately needed. This incredible collaboration gave us access to pet healthcare when we had nowhere else to turn. Without it, I truly believe we’d still be stuck in a dark place. The compassion and care we received have been a profound blessing to me, my granddaughter, and our pups. We’re so grateful to everyone who has made this possible, giving us a brighter, more stable future. Be blessed.”
