Meet Rema, a sweet and sensitive soul who came to us when her owner could no longer care for her. Rema can be a bit scared and nervous around new people and unfamiliar sounds, but she’s making wonderful progress thanks to the patience and kindness of our staff and helper dogs. She is still working on trusting people so slow, gentle interactions are best. She can also be selective with her dog friends but she does seem to enjoy lower energy, male dogs best. Rema’s treat-motivated personality makes her easy to win over with plenty of yummy snacks as distractions. With time, love, and understanding, Rema is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Thank you for your interest in adoption! We are open to process adoptions on a walk-in basis Tuesday – Friday from Noon to 6 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, adoptions are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
