Meet Gunner – a sensitive soul with the heart of a goofball hiding just beneath the surface. He’s the kind of pup who needs a minute (or ten) to warm up, but once he does, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without him. Gunner has lived with kids before and would do best in a calm home where his boundaries are respected—he’ll let you know when he’s ready for love, and when he is, get ready for a loyal companion. He’s coexisted peacefully with other dogs (he’s more of a “you do your thing, I’ll do mine” guy) and reportedly did great with cats, too! House-trained? Very possibly. Toy collector? Maybe. Cuddle bug? Only once he deems you worthy. Gunner’s doing well here at the shelter and came from a home that clearly gave him a good foundation—he’s just looking for someone to help him build the rest of the story. Come meet Gunner today! Thank you for your interest in adoption! We are open to process adoptions on a walk-in basis Tuesday – Friday from Noon to 6 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, adoptions are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
