Like many under-socialized cats, he may hiss at first—it’s just his way of setting boundaries while he figures things out. But give him a little time, and he warms up quickly, showing off his affectionate side with head bunts, rolling around, and the classic "elevator bum" when he wants pets. Garfinkel needs an adopter who truly understands cats, respects his space, and is patient enough to let him come around at his own pace. Due to his ongoing medical needs, he is on a prescription diet and will require an adopter prepared to manage his care. He would do best in an adult-only home where he can feel safe and comfortable.
