Meet the most special girl Dru! Dru came to HARP at the beginning of October when someone found this sweet pup tied to a light pole. Animal Control swooped her up, brought her to us, and she has just been blossoming into such an amazing girl ever since. Dru has been adopted from us once, but was brought back shortly after because she wasn't the best fit for her new people. While they only had her a short time, she was described as being friendly towards people. She also did well in her crate and did not have any accidents in the home! Her previous family did have three cats, which they told us Dru seemed nervous of, so if you do have any feline friends at home, we would recommend introducing them to Dru very slowly. Dru can be shy around new people at first, but if you give her some time and patience, she will warm up quick! She loves playing with toys and puzzle games, and even participated in a shelter training class and did amazing! Dru loves to learn and seemed interested in the other dogs in the class, though we do encourage any future canine roommates to meet this pup before going home with her. Dru is just a good girl looking for another shot at finding a fur-ever home. If you think you could be her perfect match, stop in to meet her today!
Thank you for your interest in adoption! We are open to process adoptions on a walk-in basis Tuesday – Friday from Noon to 6 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, adoptions are from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
